Three Peaks CLIC

About the group

We were a group of fire fighters from Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service.

Serving members often raised money for charities through running, cycling etc.

These guys were members of the walking and climbing section of the brigade who decided that they would like to break the existing fire service record which stood at that time at around 23 hours. We did break the record in a time of 21 hrs. 55 mins.

At the same time we raised around £900 for Cancer and Leukaemia in Children Trust, now Click Sergeant. (£2,500 approx. in today's terms).

Challenge registration number: 6710

This challenge took place on 13th June 1989

Time completed: 21 hours 55 minutes.
