We are 9 crazy staff and volunteers with Dorset Wildlife Trust: Steve, Andy F, Emily, Sarah, Andy P, Anna, Amanda, Gareth and our very noble driver Chris. 2010 is the year of Biodiversity, and by undertaking this gruelling challenge we aim to raise awareness of the work of Dorset Wildlife Trust and the need to conserve our rich variety of wildlife. Mountain habitat is one of the few UK habitats that Dorset does not have, but having dragged our blister ridden sore feet up these spectacular peaks we will fly the DWT flag at each high point in celebration of the UK's biodiversity, and the significant part that DWT plays in this.

We are hope to raise £3000 to support a number of specific projects: pond restoration on North Dorset, underwater marine camera and river enhancement projects in Dorchester and Wimborne. At the heart of this work are communities; schools, families and marginalised groups who will be able to get the most out of their local wildlife. Your donations will spur us on no end!!!!!!!!!!!!
