Three legs, Three peaks, One cause

We will be raising funds for Isle of Man registered charity #1351 Isle Stand Up To Suicide. Their aim is to provide support to individuals who may find themselves in a suicidal crisis. They also provide Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) training in the Manx community to give people the skills and confidence to have conversations around the topic of suicide and suicidal ideation. Ultimately, Isle Stand Up To Suicide aims to work to reduce the number of lives tragically lost on the Isle of Man to suicide. I lost my dad to suicide on December 19th 2022. He was an avid mountain climber and everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him knew that the top of a mountain was his happy place. I knew I wanted to do a climb in his memory and this is where our three peaks journey began. After a practice run up Ben Nevis in September, two of my colleagues at M&S Simon and Shaun approached me and said they would love to get involved. These two incredible guys have also experienced loss due to suicide so it means so much to have them by my side and to be able to complete this challenge together. We now have a team of 17 of our close friends, family and M&S colleagues completing the challenge with us plus our lovely backup driver Mandy. We hope to make a difference in memory of my dad, Simon’s son and Shaun’s daughter, and truly appreciate all support given. With love, Abby
