I will be running the Yorkshire 3 Peaks to raise funds for a charity called Ovacome. I've chosen this charity to give support and show solidarity with my former colleague and friend, Rebecca Leat. Sadly her daughter Maizie was diagnosed with cancer, she will start treatment on the 10th of October to fight against it. Ovacome is a charity that has helped Maizie and her family in understanding the disease and coming to terms with what is happening. There are other charities out there that have been just as supportive but I have made the decision to choose this one, they are amazing and really talk about the symptoms our young girls need to look out for!. The Yorkshire Peaks Challenge involves climbing Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside, often within 12 hours.
