Fundraising for Local Families With Bleeding Disorders (LFWBD)

Our Family has a Bleeding Disorder, and helping children understand the effects so they can lead a normal life is challenging. That is why we are so grateful for the support of LFWBD (Local Families With Bleeding Disorders). They began as a group of families offering each other support and understanding about what it is like to live with a bleeding disorder and now they have over 200 members. Their members live with mild, moderate and severe forms of Haemophilia A, B and vonWillebrands and they believe that sometimes, parents, carers, siblings or children living with a bleeding disorder just want to connect with others experiencing the same challenges that their condition brings. It is their goal to offer "support for families, by families". Our extended family have all come together to take on the Three Peaks Challenge to raise money so that other families with a range of needs can access the same support. Please do donate if you can!
