Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

I am not part of any group and I started at Ashes Farm Bed and Breakfast entrance on Gauber Road. The challenge was taken as part of my training for the National Three Peaks challenge in 6 weeks time. As a tip for others. There is no phone or mobile data coverage for virtually most of the route. I encountered 3 separate people/groups who had taken a wrong route as they were using downloaded offline maps, which weren't correct. I would recommend buying the official 'The Yorkshire Three Peaks app' from the the official Yorkshire Dales National Park website, at £2.49. It gives some information on the route and mountains, but also the walk map; It is a basic map offline map but with full route outline marked and it uses GPS to show your location on the map - no matter if you have data signal or not.
