Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

There are in fact 5 of us in our group but 3 have done it before. Myself (Marie) and Sophie are doing this for the first time and so wish to obtain a certificate each. We don’t have a team name as such. I personally (Marie) have decided to undertake the challenge in order to raise money for two chosen charities in relation to two conditions my 10 year old daughter has been diagnosed with and I’m obtaining sponsorship for this on a peak by peak basis!

Fundraising for Coeliac UK & The ITP Support Association

My 10 year old daughter was diagnosed at the age of 8 with both Coeliacs Disease and ITP (Immune Thrombocytopenia - a rare bleeding disorder). I am personally undertaking the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge as a personal achievement for myself but more importantly in order to raise funds for these two charities to assist with their ongoing research and support they provide.
