Amazon LBA9 - Yorkshire Three Peaks

We are a diverse team built from all departments across our flagship sortation centre, Amazon - LBA9. Although our team will be completing this challenge for a range of reasons, the shared goal is to give back as individuals and a business to our communities. We all have our own challenges and will be completing this one with the intention of helping others with theirs.

Fundraising for Scotty's Little Soldiers

When a parent dies, the impact on their child is significant. When that parent served in the British Forces, the impact is even greater with children often feeling they’ve lost their connection to the military community. Scotty’s Little Soldiers prevents that. Together, we can ensure the very best bereavement support remains available. Scotty’s Little Soldiers is a charity dedicated to supporting bereaved military children and young people. Inspired by the experience of Army widow Nikki Scott, the charity honours husband Corporal Lee Scott’s memory – both as a loyal soldier and a loving father – and provides a practical yet personal way for the public at large to show their appreciation for those brave individuals who make the ultimate sacrifice in the service of their country. The Mission: To provide relief from the effects of bereavement to young people who have experienced the death of a parent who served with the Armed Forces of the Crown. #HelpTheirChildrenSmile Our Promises: We want every bereaved military child to have: 1. Access to the very best health and well-being support 2. Outstanding development opportunities 3. The chance to smile again
