We are 3 blokes from the south who decided to complete the 3 Peaks challenge during the worst time of the year in terms of weather, in a suboptimal order (Scafell, Ben, Snowden), with limited prep and in a Kia Picanto with my girlfriend Katie driving from peak to peak whilst she stayed in the car. This was especially difficult considering we are all quite tall (with myself being 6ft 8) meaning we could not really sleep during the drive from peak to peak due to the lack of space. We all play for a local basketball team down south and are in an averagely fit condition. Myself (James) is a keen walker who somehow got the other two to tag along with me,
