We are doing this challenge to raise money for 'Action and Compassion for Tanzania' To help build a maternity clinic in a rural area.
ACT are a charity that mainly work in the Mtwara area of Tanzania. They run a HIV school, provide water pumps. Projects with local schools from toilets to animal rearing projects. A maternity clinic is in the planning and this is the reason for our participation in the 3 Peaks.
The National Three Peaks Challenge takes in the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales, often in 24 hours.
