We are completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for two charities. We have summited each peak individually, but this will be our first attempt to complete all three in less than 12 hours.
Fundraising pageDEC UKRAINE HUMANITAIRAN APPEAL: At least two million people have fled their homes to escape conflict in Ukraine. Leaving behind jobs, belongings and loved ones, they now face an uncertain future. DEC charities are in Ukraine and neighbouring countries meeting the needs of all refugees and displaced people. HUG ON A TRAY: They are group of 8 who visit the Bexley Wing at St James’s Hospital in Leeds. They have managed to provide both wards J88 & J89 with free TV, saving each patient £10 per day. However, in order to rent TVs for patients in 2 wards, (40 TV places in total), it costs £26,400 a year. They also give a “Hug on a Tray” which consists of each patient receiving on arrival, and topped up at will, a melamine tray, two china beakers, and a goodie bag with everything needed for them and their visiting families to make a hot drink and snack & biscuits & sweets.
