600 Mile September Challenge

We’re a family team; husband, brother and sister in law. We are taking part in Mind Lancashire’s 600 Mile September Challenge to raise money and awareness for mental health and better mental well-being for all. We all love being outdoors, and appreciate wildlife, nature and outdoor physical activity and the impact it can have on boosting your mood and wellbeing.

Fundraising for Mind Lancashire

As a team we are cycling, kayaking and walking 600 miles collectively and aiming to raise £600 for the charity. Mind Lancashire are a local mental health charity for young and old, but with a lot of focus on young people at this time. We all work or have worked with primary and secondary school students, and know the benefits of time outdoors for boosting mood. All of our fundraising miles are taking place outside, and the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge is a personal goal for us all.
