Yorkshire Academy Assassins- Return To Play- Three Peaks Challenge

We are a group of Youth & Junior American football players that are passionate about the development of the sport in the UK and we think it is important to support our club, particularly in times of Covid. Investing in equipment like Balls, Cones or Protective gear will always be paramount to facilitate a player focused and developmental practice environment, having these basics doesn't only create a safer practice environment, but one where players can progress without the need to provide their own equipment. This boosts participation in the sport that we love, and helps us spread the word about the amazing community of British American football. To help our club, the Yorkshire Academy Assassins, fund investments to replace old kit that may become unsafe, and provide new equipment that will aid in the development of players; we wanted to do something active! Our group of 6 athletes will be completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on Saturday the 10th of April. Transport to the walk and the completion of the challenge itself will be done in a Covid Safe manner and will be done in accordance with current Covid guidance. The group will be lead by Teddy Hope, a Yorkshire Assassins player, a GB player, and also a member of the BAFA Athletes Committee. Teddy has completed the walk twice previously, most recently on August the 1st 2020, with fellow players, Alfie Thompson and Oskar Oldcorn (pictured above), Organised by Teddy to raise money as part of the 'Road To The Superbowl Challenge' hosted by Carnegie American football ('CAF') at Leeds Beckett University. We will have two of our own support cars on site, driving to checkpoints to check our progress and provide water.
