I dreamed about completing Three Welsh Peaks Challenge for a while. I set myself a goal to do it before my 50th Birthday. My husband Alex (50 yr), my son Stephan (20 yr) and his friend Matthew (19 yr) joined me. Matthew is an experienced hiker but he never participated in any of the National Challenge Hikes. The rest of us had experience in long hikes at moderate difficulty level but never done a night hike before.
