Carneigie American Football- Regain/Sports tetraplegics event

As part of Carneigie American Football's 'road to the super bowl challenge', our group will kick off a 19 day event, where the club will attempt to travel 6,956km (the distance from Leeds,UK to Tampa,USA (where the next super bowl will be played). In conjunction with the Yorkshire Academy of American Football (youth and junior club also based at Leeds Beckett University); the mixed group of players will kick off the 'Road to the Superbowl challenge' on the 1st of August (being Yorkshire day). In addition to the distance covered, we will be raising money for the charity 'Regain', a charity that helps care for Sporting induced Tetraplegics. We will have the helping had of 2 support vehicles on the day (for transport and carrying water etc). We will start the walk from Horton at 8am and attempt a total time of under 12 hours.
