Camp Day!

Jonny, James and Henry aka Nemo, Sugah and Rambo are raising money for Camp day. Camp day is a day in which the Tim Horton Foundation Camps raise money to help fund their camps in Canada. All 3 members first met when working at Camp Whiteshell and have since been good friends. Due to camp being cancelled this year we all still want to take part in camp day.

Fundraising for Tim Hortons Foundation Camps

Tim Hortons Foundation Camps is a non-profit, leadership development organization that supports kids from disadvantaged circumstances between the ages of 12 to 16. Through a multi-year, camp-based program, they learn skills like leadership, resilience, and responsibility, empowering them to change their stories for the better and ultimately break the cycle of poverty. With seven camps across North America that run year-round Summer and School Programs, Tim Hortons Foundation Camps invests in youth from every Tim Hortons community, and is entirely funded by restaurant owners, guests, and sponsors through Tim Hortons Camp Day, fundraising events, and year-round donations collected through restaurant coin boxes. Youth from low-income homes are at risk of repeating the cycle of poverty and face additional obstacles and pressures on academic performance, relationship building and physical and emotional well-being. With 1 in 5 (or 1.2 million) children in Canada living in poverty, a multi-year Tims Camps experience designed for lasting positive development, can mean the difference between a young person struggling or a young person thriving.
