Fundraising for Manchester Mind

Our purpose is to support better mental health for everyone. We believe that everyone deserves to be supported in their mental health needs and that we have a part to play in that. We value the commitment of our staff and volunteers who work hard to ensure our services are delivered in a way that enables people to feel heard and involved. We know Manchester well We have been delivering services in the city since 1989 (previously as HARP), initially focussing on people living in Hulme, but over the years we have extended our services to meet the needs of people citywide. In 2011 we became one of 137 Local Mind Associations, as we affiliated to national Mind. Despite this, we remain an independent charity, governed by our own trustees. We now deliver a wide range of services to support people’s mental health and last year over 5,000 people received support, information and/or training from Manchester Mind.
