Cambodia 2019 Challenge

We're 3 Sixth Form boys from Nottingham, who are planning a 4 week expedition to Cambodia to help the locals in Summer 2019. We have a £12,000.00 target overall, with a £5,000.00 goal for this particular challenge.

Fundraising for Camps International

At Camps International, we believe in working together hand-in-hand with local communities across the globe to find more effective ways to do things. And we’re in it for the long haul, meaning that the projects we do will continue to benefit and transform the communities we work with long after the expedition is complete. In Cambodia, there are 14.8 million people and 33% of them don't have access to clean drinking water, something we all take for granted. It's a necessity. Furthermore, 67% don't have access to sanitation. Something we all need and shouldn't be a challenge for anyone to be clean, however, the harsh truth is they do. This leaves them open to disease, infection and possible death, these two factors alone, causes statistics such as 51 deaths/1000 live births which are subject to infant mortality.
