We are a team of Police Officers from Kent Police who are undertaking this challenge in support of a much loved colleague Stephen Marshall and his family. In November 2017, Steve's daughter Becky took her own life after a long battle with her mental health, a tragedy that shook her family and friends to the core. After much wrangling as to how best to show Stephen and his wife Jeanette that they have the utmost support of friends and colleagues, we have decided to undertake this challenge in memory of Becky, as a small gesture to the family to show that they are always in our thoughts at this time of deep sorrow. Also, by way of celebrating Becky's life and legacy, we aim to raise money for the charity Young Minds, a charity which support the mental health of young people and which played a part in Becky's life assisting her with her struggle. Our group is comprised of members of Steve's former team based at Maidstone Police Station who have worked closely with Steve, as well as a few new faces to the team who are also dedicated to raising money for this wonderful cause.
