Fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK

Our dearest friend Rosie Fiducia now has stage 4 pancreatic cancer – she has experienced the whole gamut of horrors and her treatment often leaves her in such pain and nauseous that she stays in bed. With her usual humour and bloody mindedness though she is getting on with life for her family – her courage is awesome. This disease has very few treatments and only a shocking 5% of people survive for 5 years or more – a rate that has barely improved for the past 40 years. Despite this, over the last decade only a woeful 1% of total UK cancer research funding is dedicated to the disease.
