Cetus team to tackle National Three Peaks for charity. A team from Cetus Solutions, a Manchester based IT infrastructure company, are taking on the mighty National three peaks challenge to raise money for charity. The challenge will see the team scale Ben Nevis, Scafell and Snowdon within a 24 hour period, amounting to some 13 hours of walking and over 900 miles of driving. Keen to complete the challenge and to reap the rewards for their charities, the team have been preparing by tackling individual peaks for the last three months, building up their endurance and stamina, whilst breaking in their walking shoes for the extreme event. Helen Wood (team leader) says “we are all very excited about this challenge, although we will all find it difficult the sense of achievement after will be well worth it.” The ongoing hot spell should both help and hinder the team as they tackle the balmy temperatures across the UK.
