Walking group consists of two Scots, Ian and John, and one Englishman, Richard, with our dedicated driver from Angola. Ian has the advantage of being 21, Richard being a middle aged 36 and John somewhere in his forties (walking stick definitely needed here!) This has been a shared dream ambition for 2 years plus now and we have been busy putting in walks over this time with the three peaks as the vision. We work together, busy despatching for Greggs the Bakers and know each other inside out.
Children in Need is a charity that makes a huge difference to the lives of disabled children and young people all across the UK. The money contributed is distributed to organisations supporting children aged 18 and under who have mental, physical or sensory disorders; behavioural or psychological disorders; are living in poverty or situations of deprivation; or suffering through stress, sexual abuse or neglect. Pudsey bear is their well known mascot and Greggs the Bakers have managed to raise a whopping one million pounds plus over the previous two years.
