This website concerns a serious endurance challenge, and should not be taken lightly. Given the potentially dangerous nature of this challenge, we present no guarantee of the accuracy or reliability of the information contained herein.

You should at no point go beyond the limits of your abilities.

It is your own responsibility to take appropriate precautions, prepare adequately, take required equipment and use said equipment correctly. Map reading and mountain navigation skills are essential.

You should not rely on mobile phones for use in emergencies, as coverage is unreliable. Mountain rescue should only ever be contacted in an genuine emergency.

In an emergency, dial 999 or 112 and ask for Police, then Mountain Rescue.

Mountain weather can change quickly, resulting in lack of visibility, and extended periods of rain and cold temperatures. You should be prepared for this, and be prepared to abandon a walk should you judge the situation to have become too dangerous.
