Caitlin Climbs a Peak a Week

I'm 20 years old and in the middle of my Childhood, Youth and Education Degree at the University of Bath. I like to raise money for different charities and in studying children I have found a passion for helping those who are in need. Similarly I like a challenge and have climbed higher mountains so thought why not put all three passions together and climb the Three Peaks. I have my Mother climbing Scarfell Pike with me, my father climbing Ben Nevis and my boyfriend climbing Snowdon with me, all are helping with the sponsors.

Fundraising for Action for Children and SNAP

I have chosen two charities, a national one and a local one. Action for Children help neglected and abused children in foster care and at home. They help disabled children and teenagers alike with all sorts of learning and problems. SNAP is a local charity. It is raising money for a new Hydrotherapy pool at our local school for Special Need children. They have been raising the money for a long time and I've helped out at other events for SNAP.
