Burton's Biscuit Company's (BBCo) chosen corporate charity for 2013 is Children in Need. All sites, locations and departments in the company are organising events in order to raise as much money as possible or to assist in key community projects. The Board team has decided to do its part by attempting the 3-Peaks Challenge
As a company we recognise and value the positive impact that we can have on our local communities. We were really pleased with the success of this year’s Community Sports Sponsorship Programme and want to build on this further in 2013 by becoming a partner of the BBC’s Children in Need. Children in Need have raised £46 million this year for local children’s projects and are constantly looking at new ways to raise more funds. As part of our partnership with Children in Need, we will all get the opportunity to raise money for and volunteer at local projects, and help make every day more of a treat in our local communities.
