Geordie Scouters

We are a group of friends that met through Scouts and have kept in touch since moving away. All of us have a passion for the outdoors, we have continued to complete expeditions as a group and our ultimate goal is to complete the National Three Peaks Challenge. We eventually decided that it was best to complete this challenge as soon as possible and knew exactly what causes we could complete it in aid of.

Fundraising for Myeloma UK/Young Epilepsy

These two charities are both significant to our group as a whole. Firstly in 2011 a good friend of ours, Ryan, died following a serious epileptic episode and after many years struggling with the condition. He was a great like minded guy with strong ambition and a fantastic sense of humour. His death was a great loss, his family pledged support to Young Epilepsy and we wish to do the same to keep his memory alive. https://www.justgiving.com/ThreePeaksRyan Last year our Explorer Scout Leader died following her battle with cancer. She supported us throughout our time at Explorer Scouts and helped us through our Duke of Edinburgh Awards. We therefore decided to support Myeloma UK and aid their research and support those who have myeloma. https://www.justgiving.com/ThreePeaksJackie
