Both team members have competed in a variety of events including triathlons up to and including Ironman distance, Toughguy, duathlons, all lengths of running races up to and including ultra marathons.Both have wanted to complete 3 Peaks but never really wanted to do as part of a large group, preffering to race against the clock and a pace that tested both of us. The challenge was completed starting in Wales and finishing in Scotland and all the driving was done by ourselves. The challange was to complete in 20 hours, which was narrowly achieved!
This challenge took place on 16th July 2010
Time completed: 19 hours 26 minutes.
The National Three Peaks Challenge takes in the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales, often in 24 hours.
