Sarah Winckless is a retired GB rower, having won a bronze medal in the women's double sculls at the Athens Olympics. She is now a motivational speaker and coach. Siobhan McHugh is a Biologist, and an ex-rugby player, having played in the RFU Women's Premiership for nearly 8 years. Faye Hardcastle is also a Biologist at Queen Ethelburga's in York.
Fundraising pageAfter finding out that she has the Huntington's gene, Sarah has become a patron of the SHA, and has set about challenging herself and others to raise £50,000 to pay for 2 specialist HD nurses. The nurses will help families in Scotland who are living with the disease. This fundraising effort is in conjunction with Sarah's SHA-pe up with Winckless campaign.
