We are best friends and we are aiming to raise money for our niece June.
June is a three year old girl with a genetic condition which has yet to be identified. She is severely deaf, has difficulty with speech and is not able to feed orally so is fed through a tube which goes direct into her stomach. As part of her overall condition June also has arthrogryposis, this means that her limbs are fixed in an angular position and she is unable to straighten them. We are aiming to raise £5000 for an electric wheelchair and any extra money will go towards therapy and any other medical costs.
The Yorkshire Peaks Challenge involves climbing Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside, often within 12 hours.
