Fundraising for SRP Benevolent Fund

The Society for Radiological Protection (SRP) exists to promote the science and art of radiation protection and allied fields for the public benefit. It does this by the voluntary efforts of its members, and is wholly reliant upon them for technical expertise and manpower. It is reasonable, sensible and appropriate to provide services to members so that they continue to be available to meet the Charter objectives of the Society. The SRP Benevolent Fund aims to help members (and ex-members) and their dependents in distress. As part of raising the profile of the SRP Benevolent Fund and to raise some funds, some SRP members will be participating in the 3 Peaks Challenge at the end of August 2012. For more information on the scale of this challenge, see http://srp-uk.org/images/stories/SRP_Three_Peaks_Challenge.pdf
