15 sixth form students, 6 teachers, 2 mountain leaders - all hoping to raise as much as possible for two small but personally significant charities Donkey Sanctuary (Devon) and the Newbury and District cancer care trust. We are amateurs however we hope we have the determination, team morale and fitness to complete the challenge - we are hoping for the best!

The two charities we have chosen do a fantastic job in such key areas of modern society (animal welfare and cancer research and care). They are both small, local charities; so the money we raise will directly benefit and will not be lost as part of admin fees.
