Three Peaks Challenge

My name is Rachel, I’m 27, and live in a town called Hinckley in Leicestershire. I work as a Data Capture Technician for the East Midlands Gas Alliance. I enjoy being active by going to the gym, walking, and bike riding. I also enjoy T.V and film and socialising with my friends. I like to set myself difficult challenges at work, home, and at play. That way I’m always on my toes and life is more exciting. The main reason I choose this charity is because they are providing support for one of my work colleagues with her daughter’s cancer. She says that they are doing an amazing job and have made her turmoil that little easier to deal with. Without the help of CLIC Sergents she says she would not be able to cope. I want to raise money for CLIC so they can continue to support families like my colleagues.

Fundraising for CLIC Sergent

The charity I want to raise money for is CLIC Sergent – Caring for Young People with Cancer. CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families. They provide clinical, practical, financial and emotional support to help them cope with cancer and get the most out of life. They are there from diagnosis onwards and aim to help the whole family deal with the impact of cancer and its treatment, life after treatment and, in some cases, bereavement.
