Three Peaks Challenge 2012 supporting the CVI

This event started out following the loss of our friend to cancer just before Christmas. It makes you realise how short life can be and that every moment should be grabbed with both hands! Originally David, Jenna and Myself made plans to take on this challenge but it soon became apparent how strongly people felt about this and in no time our 3 grew to 12 (including drivers). Our new extended team Anita, Laura, Rachel, Kelly, Ash, Mike & Chris also have personal reasons for achieving this challenge and raising funds to this important charity and we could not be attempting the 24hours timeline without the support of our drivers Gerry and William.

Fundraising for Cancer Vaccine Institute

The CVI is currently the only national charity in the UK exclusively funding research to fight cancer with vaccines and immunotherapy, determined to develop a better treatment for cancer to help patients live longer with a better quality of life. All members of our team have lost a loved one to cancer and we walk to give others a chance.
