Fifth Beckenham South Explorer Scout Leaders

We are the Explorer Scout Leaders of the Fifth Beckenham South Explorer Unit ( Vultures ). We are completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks for several reasons; as a personal challenge, to lead by example to our Explorer Scouts in fundraising for our Explorer unit and to add some more hill walking experience to our Terrain 1 hill walking adventurous activity permit application with the Scout Association. This permit will allow us to take our Explorer Scouts hill walking in such areas as the Brecon Beacons and the Lake District.

All funds raised by this challenge will be put towards an international summer camp for our Explorer Scouts in 2024. We are currently planning a trip to Norway and all funds raised will reduce the costs of activities for our Explorer Scouts. We hope these activities to include glacier hiking and kayaking across fjords.
