Hale Engineering

The Hale Engineering Group has experience completing the National Three Peaks Challenge from last year, and this year we are determined to complete the challenge within 24 hours. All participants are fit and some of us began training in January. We are representing Hale Engineering, the company of which we are a part.

Fundraising for STEM

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) charities are organisations that aim to promote education and opportunities in STEM fields for individuals who may not have access to them. These charities work towards bridging the gap between disadvantaged or underrepresented groups and the STEM industry. Some STEM charities focus on providing educational resources and support to schools and teachers, while others offer mentorship programs, scholarships, and other initiatives to encourage and empower students from diverse backgrounds to pursue STEM careers. Additionally, many STEM charities also work towards creating a more inclusive and diverse STEM community, advocating for equal opportunities for individuals of all genders, ethnicities, and socio-economic backgrounds. Examples of STEM charities include The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), The Royal Society of Chemistry, The Women in Science and Engineering (WISE), and The Raspberry Pi Foundation. These organisations work towards a common goal of promoting and supporting STEM education and career opportunities, helping to create a more inclusive and diverse STEM community.
