Fundraising for Alzheimer's Society

We are not sure why we have agreed to this, if you could hear the moaning about aches and pains on our training hikes it would make you wonder what we have put ourselves in line for.. but hey-ho... we are a stubborn bunch and are determined to smash this challenge! The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, WITHIN 24 hours. The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft) - twice the ascent of the Yorkshire 3 peaks, over a similar total walking distance. The total driving distance is 462 miles. Alzheimers is a charity very close to our hearts which is why we have chosen to support this important charity. Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice. Please support us by donating what you can afford and see a bunch of middle aged men suffer :)
