Men Walking and Talking Group

Men Walking and Talking currently run mental health walks with the aim of bringing men together in a safe space to end the stigma around #mensmentalhealth by supporting each other. Initially started in 2021 by Dan Reid in Telford, and having only 1 attendee on the first walk, it has now grown to 11 walks in Cheshire, Powys, Shropshire, Somerset, Warwickshire and Worcestershire.

Fundraising for Men Walking and Talking

In 2022, Men Walking and Talking became a Community Interest Corporation and we decided to take on the Yorkshire peaks challenge to highlight how working together as a group of men from different background can come together supporting each other to overcome challengers. Our aim is to raise awareness around the importance of support, connect, community and talking. We are fundraising predominately on behalf on the Men walking talking group and a smaller charity in our local area.
