Canary Climbers

Me (Ollie) and Lewy have known each other for over 15 years and came together through a passion of playing football. After losing friends to suicide, and with myself working in mental health, Papyrus is a charity close to our hearts and we really wanted to push and challenge ourselves while making a difference - and what better way then to take on the National Three Peaks challenge! Les is a veteran at Peak challenges and will be supporting us throughout the challenge as our team driver and support aid back at base camp! we originally set out to complete the challenge in 2020 but due to CoViD-19 postponed our fundraising and event to 2021. CoViD-19 has hit many people hard with many suffering from poor mental health, so it is even more important for us to be raising much-needed money for an amazing cause - the prevention of suicide in young people.

Fundraising for PAPYRUS - Prevention of Young Suicide

PAPYRUS is the national Charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide. Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, in 2018 over 1800 young people took their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINEUK. Every £5 raised can help pay for a life-saving contact to HOPELINEUK. Your donations really are lifesaving, thank you.
