Fundraising for Mind

Everybody’s health is made up of an array of different aspects that are all equally important; physical fitness, mental health and our emotional and spiritual wellbeing all work hand-in-hand to keep us healthy and support our overall wellbeing. Raising awareness for mental health issues and the wonderful charities that provide support for those who need it and advice on ways in which we can support both our own and other's mental health is incredibly important, and has become especially relevant in the recent lockdowns, with many people being isolated. Mind are just one example of an organisation that does an amazing job of raising awareness and providing support, and to support them and help them continue the vital work that they do, Woody’s Health and Fitness will be taking a small team of our members to complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on 10th July 2021. Exercise is an extremely positive way to support your mental health and boost your self-esteem, and with the theme of this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week being ‘nature’, I believe that getting people outdoors and exploring different ways to exercise is the perfect way to raise awareness for this incredibly important topic and wonderful charity. You can donate now on the ‘Woody’s Health and Fitness Yorkshire 3 Peaks for Mind’ JustGiving page on the link below, and make sure to check out the Woody's Health and Fitness Facebook page, Instagram account and the Community page on our website (www.woodyshealthandfitness.co.uk) for updates on the Challenge and our Team’s preparation for it!
