Fundraising pageLouisa Sargent, 38, has Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma. NHS options in the UK have been exhausted, so family and friends are urgently looking at private options available abroad. Dendritic cell therapy in Germany has been identified as a possible treatment with costs and availability being researched. Lou’s family would love any help in identifying possible clinics and anyone with first- or second-hand experience of such cancer treatment. Any initial treatment is expected to cost a minimum of £40,000. Therefore fund-raising is being organised around a series of events which friends and family are taking part in, as well as welcoming any other donations. Any donations and pledges people can make would be hugely appreciated by Lou, husband Ryan, their two beautiful young children and the rest of the family, who have already been overwhelmed by the love and support shown to them.
