Alasdair Robertson - Back on Track

Three years after breaking my back in a climbing accident, I decided to undertake a challenge to raise money for Spinal Research. I settled on doing the National Three Peaks, but without a car, carrying 20kg of camping gear with me. I had friends join me for stretches of up to three days but was on my own for about half the time. I had no rest days and summitted a peak every other Saturday. When I had finished, I plotted out my entire route and found that I had walked 500 miles. I raised almost £6000 for Spinal Research and my feet took two weeks to feel normal again!
