Goathland Plough Stots

The Goathland Plough Stots are a traditional Long sword dance team from the village of Goathland which is located on the North Yorkshire Moors. The team dance our traditional dance which has been passed down since the early 19th century. We aim to compete the three peaks challenge with a sight twist, we will be carrying out kit up and performing once of our dances on each peak. Meaning we probably will be the first to be able to say we have performed a folk dance on the highest point in Scotland, England and Wales.

Fundraising for Children's Cancer and Leukaemia group

We will be taking part in the National Children's cancer awareness month which is September. All funds raised will be going to the CCLG. The Charity provides treatment and support though-out the uk to families of Children suffering from many forms of cancer. We have chosen this charity as it is something close to our hearts and something our village community has been affected been recently.
