We are a group of colleagues (VHE Construction) wanting to raise money for Barnsley hospice (our chosen annual charity). We are all active individuals who take part in a number of events throughout the year both together in groups and individually. I myself (Gemma) have always wanted to do this challenge and so am really looking forward to it.
We are raising money for Barnsley Hospice, a local charity to our office. Barnsley Hospice provides specialist care to individuals who have active and progressive life-limiting illnesses. The care provided, both to the patient and their families, aims to improve quality of life through difficult and challenging times. This service is not fully subsidised by the NHS and so relies on the generosity of individuals and local businesses to support their dedicated work.
