The group was a mix of work colleagues (mostly) who all decided to join me on the 3 peaks challenge to raise money for Age UK in memory of my mum who sadly passed the year before. Very little training and a works van that we found would not go faster than 62mph did not help. To top it all off we ended up having to have the van recovered from Betws-y-Coed with a ruptured brake line. Great adventure, top company awful weather on Ben Nevis, stunning views from the summit of Snowdon and a lot of laughs through the pain.
