I’m doing the National Three Peak Challenge as a personal challenge and also to raise money for Cancer Research. I am aiming to climb and descend the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours- including the travel between! Ali, my younger sister, on the right in the picture, has secondary Breast Cancer, and my father has Bladder Cancer so I want to do something that will hopefully have a positive impact on a charity that is close to my family’s heart. With all of our support, Cancer Research can find even more ways to prevent cancer, detect it earlier, treat it more effectively and stop it taking lives. The money you donate helps support nearly 400 researchers across the UK and Ireland, all working towards one clear goal and if we all act now, by 2050, we believe everyone who develops the disease will live.
