We are all at the end of our second year at the University of Southampton. Last summer we went interrailing together and we would like to follow on from that by doing another group activity, this time raising money for Cancer Research UK.
Fundraising pageNearly 360,000 people are diagnosed with cancer per year in the UK and nearly 165,000 die from it annually. Cancer Research has already cut the mortality rate by half in the last 40 years and is aiming to see 75% of people survive cancer by 2034. To do this they need support to fund their continuous research into treating and preventing cancer in all its forms.
