Fundraising for The Neuromuscular Centre Cheshire (Muscular Dystrophy)

Currently, In the UK, around 70,000 people have Muscular Dystrophy or a related condition. Muscular Dystrophy (MD) is a group of muscle diseases that results in an increased weakening and breakdown of skeletal muscles over time. The most common type of MD is Duchenne, in the UK, about 100 males are born with Duchenne MD each year, and there are about 2,500 people living with the condition in the UK at any one time.  On the 14th of June, Freddie, Rob and I will take on The Three Peak Challenge in 24 hours. We will first start at Ben Nevis, followed by Scarfell Pike, before finishing at Mount Snowden. Currently, there is no cure for any form of Muscular Dystrophy. But with your donations together we can raise money to help treat or at least reduce symptoms of the diseased, to allow them to live a life as normal as they can and help them remain mobile for as long as possible. The NeuroMuscular Centre, located in Cheshire, is one of few centres around the UK for treatment which is why donating to this worthy cause  is pivotal in ensuring the correct and safe treatment for those affected.
