Team Macy 3 Peaks Challenge

We are a group of friends joined together in challenging ourselves in memory of Paul and Helen's youngest daughter Macy who sadly died of a Congenital Heart Defect which was undetected at birth. We have vowed to push through the pain in her memory, to keep ourselves fit and focused to protect our own hearts and to spread awareness of the worlds largest childhood killer

Fundraising for Team Macy

Team Macy was set up in 2012 following the devastating death of Macy, Paul and Helen's youngest daughter. CHD is the worlds largest childhood killer, killing more babies and children than all childhood cancers put together, yet the statistics are much less commonly known about. We have so far raised over £75,000 which has bought life-saving equipment at the Peadiatric Intensive Care Unit at The Royal Brompton Hospital, funded research into the genetics behind CHD's at one of the top performing laboratories in the world which will one day prevent other families from the total devastation of loosing a child. We would also like to help families suffering from child loss by promoting health and wellness and offering counselling and support.
