Alex Staniforth 3 Peak Challenge Solo Record Attempt

I'm Alex, I'm a 16 year old outdoors enthusiast, I want to acheive great things and life and live it to the full. My motto is 'Live The Dream'. I have 2 summits on Snowdon and 1 summit of Scafell Pike. I abandoned an attempt on Ben Nevis last year at 1000m due to dangerous snow conditions. I want to break the record to be the youngest person EVER to do the 3 Peaks Challenge completely solo- relying on my fitness and experience to get me up and down them all safely in 24 hours. My support team consists solely of my stepdad Chris, who runs Tarvin Cars based in Cheshire, and he will be my dedicated driver for the 900 mile trip. I couldn't do it without him, or the rest of my family who are helping me with my attempt. Please sponsor me as I am trying to raise £1000 for my two charities!

Fundraising for Breakthrough Breast Cancer and REACT- (50/50 split)

Breakthrough Breast Cancer means a lot to me because I and my stepdad have lost relatives to cancer. There are many supposedly healthy people suffering from this horrible disease. Progress is being made but not enough to stop people dying- I think Breakthrough targets their work in the best areas to help remove the fear of cancer for good and their money really does make a difference. REACT (Red Endangered Animal Connection Trust) is also very important to me as I have a passion for wildlife and there are so many issues involving it that it really does concern me. I want to do something about it. There are so many wildlife charities and it was hard to choose but I think REACT is doing really good work that does make a difference and gives me some relief that our wildlife might have a hope.
