Fundraising pageQueenscourt Hospice is a local charity that provides support for the people of West Lancs, Southport and Formby. We care for patients with serious illnesses, enabling them to achieve the best possible quality of life at each new stage. We help to do this both in the Hospice and at Home through our In-Patient unit, Queenscourt Connect and Queenscourt at Home services. You can find out more about what we do on our Services section. We receive less than 1/4th of our costs from the NHS and the rest of the money comes from charitable donations that help keep the hospice running! Queenscourt requires over 100 professional staff members to stay open, including Doctors, Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Physiotherapists and many other roles. Even with this core team of professional staff members the work we do would not be possible without our huge team of Volunteers who work in our shops, help out around the Hospice, answer the phones, maintain our gardens, manage support groups and set up events on our behalf to raise money.
